01 — Identity

The firm in its own words.

Information presented here is reproduced from the firm's Phase 2 brief and the ICAI register.

Bagrecha & Singhvi LLP is a firm of Chartered Accountants registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India under Firm Registration Number 006339S/S000238. The firm was established in 1993.

The firm operates from two registered offices: a head office at Bagrecha Arcade, Ballari, Karnataka, and a branch office at Rishab Arcade, Bengaluru, Karnataka. Both partners — Fellow members of the Institute — supervise engagements directly across statutory audit, tax audit, internal and concurrent audits, government and bank-branch audits, advisory, loan-syndication assistance, and corporate-services work.

The firm is not affiliated with any ICAI-registered Network. Engagement scope is agreed in writing on a per-engagement basis. Detailed practice areas and assignment categories are listed under the services and assignments sections.

The website is maintained as a passive reference per the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India's "Website of the CA Firms" guidance under Section 3.3 of the Code of Ethics, 2020. The firm does not advertise, solicit, or otherwise promote its services through this site or any other channel.

How we work

Engagements are scoped, signed, and supervised by one or both partners. Audit work is carried out under ICAI Standards on Auditing, with documentation, planning, and review aligned to the Institute's quality-control framework. Where a regulator prescribes a specific format — the Comptroller and Auditor General, the Reserve Bank of India, the Income Tax Department — the firm follows that format strictly.

The firm draws on a small but steady team of Chartered Accountants, articled assistants, and support staff. Articled assistants train under the partners and rotate across the firm's principal practice areas in line with the Institute's training scheme.

Constitution

The firm is constituted as a Limited Liability Partnership under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008. The constitution preserves the firm's continuity through its transition from a partnership form to an LLP, while the Firm Registration Number with the Institute remains 006339S/S000238.

02 — Posture

A passive reference, not a sales surface.

The Institute's Code of Ethics shapes what the firm publishes and how.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India regulates how a CA firm may present itself in public. The principal doctrine is "pull, not push": a firm's website may exist as a passive directory that an interested party seeks out, but never as a channel that solicits visits, clicks, or engagement.

In practice, that means this site carries no marketing copy, no client logos or testimonials, no fee information, no awards, no taglines, and no calls to engage the firm. What it carries is the kind of factual register entry that the Institute permits: the firm's name and constitution, its registration with the Institute, the partners and their qualifications, the offices, the practice areas, and a passive note on assignments handled.

Where a question of judgement has come up — whether a piece of content reads as solicitation, whether an item is reverse-identifying of a client, whether a description is at material variance with the ICAI register — the firm has defaulted to the strict reading of the Institute's guidance. The site is reviewed against the Phase 4 audit checklist before each material change.
